Coming Soon Interactive Application
The Coming Soon red button application is designed to promote selected movies over satellite. It allows the users to watch trailers for the promoted movies and read about the movies. In addition the application allows the user to see where the movie is playing or what is playing at their local cinema.
The application promotes 13 movies. Three of these have endless loops of their movie trailer, allowing the customer to see the movie trailers at home. The remaining ten movies are shown with their movie trailer in a composite trailer stream.
Coming Soon is able to change the appearances of their application by uploading new graphics through a web site. Similarly the update of promoted movies is done through the website. The playout server is able to upload the database when it is updated and automatically publish the new version of the application.
Once launched we hope that this will benefit not only Coming Soon but also their users across Italy.
